A absolutely exceptionally circa 1880 Pollard oak partner desk with green leather top What can I say, a 140+ year old desk, in one of the best timbers around and made and with a super tapered top! Pollard oak is one of my favourite timbers, it is pure eye candy from all angles We have cleaned waxed and polished this from top to bottom, there will be normal age and use related patina marks here and there, nothing that detracts from the age, charm and sophistication of the piece. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
