Vintage Design
A very unusual British antique steel framed side chair. With scrolled horn-type ends and turned painted wooden legs, it sits on brass and porcelain castors. Circa 1880.
The chair has been reupholstered and entirely hand stitched in a luxury Scottish Tweed from Lovat Mill. The Ettrick range fabric is 100% wool, is renowned for its rich colour mixtures and firmly woven tightly twisted yarns. Photograph number 2 is a good colour match.
The painted wood has been refinished in the same colour it was originally, and has been lightly distressed.
