An antique French tambour door bookcase, made of solid mahogany wood. It’s made in France, at the the end of the Napoleon III period, 1860-1870. The lower part has tambour sliding doors. The cabinet is embelished with ormolu gilt bronze ornaments. The top part is open with two wooden shelfs, these are adjustable in any height and are removable, so using 1 instead of 2 is possible.
