A 19th century Napoleon III bronze mounted marquetry jardiniere, or planter, with inlaid veneer of kingwood. Decorated with two hand-painted Se`vres porcelain medallions, one with a cupid and the other with flowers. Original removable zinc liner has an old repair and may not be water tight. French polish finish. Bronze has been cleaned and polished, not lacquered. Very good condition consistent with age and use. Circa 1870-1890. 16″W x 9.5″D x 7″H
