19th century oak umbrella stand from France with a beveled and carved decorated edge around the top, surrounding twelve sections for umbrellas or canes. The apron is wonderfully carved decorated as well and the piece is supported on hand turned legs, joined at the bottom by a lower shelf, in which is fitted a metal drip tray. The feet are hand turned as well. It is a lovely piece for any home.
