19th century oak buffet from France. The top is banded and has a beveled and hand carved decorated edge, following down to paneled sides, which are hand carved decorated. The front of the buffet is blocked and has a single drawer, which is paneled and hand carved decorated, over two molded, paneled and carved doors, with patterns of musical instruments and artist implements, which open to reveal shelving. The doors are flanked by hand turned barley twist columns. The base of the piece is molded and has hand carved decoration as well. It is supported on hand turned bun feet.
