Dress an entry way with this fine antique umbrella or cane stand. Crafted in Brittany, France circa 1870, the freestanding stand is decorated with a French revolution royalist, a “Chouan”, standing over tools and anchor. The bottom is decorated with a removable white painted tray. The piece is in excellent condition with wonderful, ornate details in high relief and a rich polished steel finish. Place this stand near an entryway, or in a mudroom to catch umbrellas or display a couple of guns.
