1970’s Italian Leopard Gold Belted Ceramic Platter by Mottahedeh

This is a very fun Mid Century Italian Leopard ceramic platter with a luggage motif with gold belt design. It was made exclusively for Mottahedeh Design. This was hand painted in Italy in a beautiful black, brown and gold and features a gold belt design around the border. This platter has the beautiful reproduction of William Jardine’s “Felis Mitis” in the center. This could be used as display or for functional use. This platter is very rare and incredibly whimsical! We have another box from this leopard collection currently listed that would look fun together. This is in excellent vintage condition. The dimensions are 9 inches by 9 inches.
