Soriana sofa by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Cassina, Italy, 1970, The sofa is reupholstered in a beautiful Soft shiny fabric by Zinq, giving it a very luxurious and residential appearance. The original foam is in perfect condition and shows its characteristic round and bulky shape. The concept behind the Soriana series was to express a comfortable design where a bundle of fabric or leather was held together by chrome-plated metal clamps. The ‘Soriana’ series won the Compasso d’Oro prize in 1970. Condition: In excellent condition because of new fabric. Dimensions: 66cm H x 243cm W x 104cm D Seat height: 38 cm:
