Fire-gilt bronze chimneys “aux sphinges”. Pedestal standing on a round base with open worked mascaron, tendrils, flowers and bows, on which lies the winged sphinx. Finely chiseled and gilded. Paris, circa 1870. Bronze sphinx patinated in black.
