Pair of carved limestone garden sculptures. One putti is holding a mallet and chisel while the other holds a paint brush and artist’s pallet. Note the fine details in the carved faces.
The worn patina reflects years of exposure outside in the elements, leaving an aged pitted patina with lichen/stains throughout as well.
Provenance: A Danish manor house on the island of Fyn.
