General George C. Marshall, 1980

plaster and wood maquette

Fiore was chosen by the citizens of Leesburg, Virginia to sculpt a commemorative sculpture of Marshall. This is the maquette that was selected by the memorial committee. The 9 foot tall bronze is now located on the grounds of Dodana Manor in Leesburg.

Very good overall condition. The wooden fence is not attached.
