French Semi-Precious Stone Cabinet, 19th Century

Moulded breakfront wood top trimmed with gilt bronze egg and dart, above three doors revealing three shelving compartments and fourteen storage compartment drawers, the central door is mounted with jeweled panels of semi-precious stone depicting floral boughs, the two flanking doors are centered with an intricate pierced ormolu applique of a male mask decorated in a floral and scroll motif, the four corners of the front side exhibiting four additional bronze appliques with female masks.
