Vintage Design
Adjustable desk chair (Model 1850) made at the Galvanische Industrie Overschie, Rotterdam in the 1960s. This office chair is rotatable, adjustable in height and has an adjustable backrest. It has been reupholstered with new filling and red rib. The condition is therefore very good again. The Galvanische Industrie Overschie (GIO) was founded in 1936 and mainly made tubular frame furniture. Nice to know: EMS Steel Furniture (First Machine Chairs Factory) was a division of GIO. Material: chromed metal, wooden seat and red Manchester corduroy. Dimensions: h x w x d = 93 x 41 x 49 cm and the seat height is adjustable from 46 to 59 cm.
