Vintage Design
Magnificent and ultra rare pair of Art Deco Amsterdamse School nightstands. Design by Jac. van den Bosch. Striking Dutch design from the 1920s. Solid oak frames and the drawers have the original ebony knobs. Original black lacquered feet. In very good condition with a beautiful patina. Ultra rare because of the fact that these Art Deco Amsterdamse School nightstands are a wonderful pair and the Dutch architect and designer Jac. van den Bosch has designed only a few pieces of furniture in the Amsterdamse School style! The majority of his designs were designed and executed in the Art Nouveau or Arts & Crafts style and also known in the Netherlands as Nieuwe Kunst.
