Description

Chinese earthenware pottery Shiwan ware ginger jar in an unusual blue/green color way made in the 20th century in Shiwanzhen, Foshan. The hexagonal shape and the recessed side panels are decorated with embossed floral motifs, each panel with a different species of flowering plant. The drip glaze has a beautiful cerulean color. The base and mouth are unglazed.
