A Pair of Napoléon III Gilt-Bronze Pedestals.
Each modelled with three upright supports of angels and joined by spheres with seated cherubs holding a castle and a mirror. The tripartite bases raised on toupie feet. The tops inset with a circular pink granite top above a rim set with stars and cherubic masks.

These opulent pedestals, or floor stands, are richly modelled in gilt-bronze and playfully detailed with sculptural ornament emblematic of love.
