French bureau from the end of the 19th century. Finished for the center furniture from the Napoleon III era, finely veneered in palisander and mahogany. Slightly rounded and moved bureau, equipped with an external drawer, complete with working key, of good capacity. Openable roll-top bureau that offers inside a removable desk top covered in good-sized leather, four small drawers and four document compartments (see photo). Furniture with high leg finely adorned with gilded and chiselled bronze and brass of excellent quality. Top in original recessed marble with gilt brass ring (see photo). Key missing roll-top bureau lock. Furniture of great elegance and excellent proportions, which can be easily placed in different parts of the house, for antique dealers and interior decorators. It has several small veneer defects and signs of old restoration works (see photos). Structurally sound, overall in a fair state of conservation. To be restored.
