Handcrafted circa 1875 by a metal artist schooled in Europe, the antique wrought iron demi-lune console table is topped with a 1/4 inch smoky glass. It stands on cabriole-shaped legs adorned with the most intricate metal floral embellishments. Design details such as the medallion encircled by a wreath of leaves along the front apron lend it a Napoleonic influence. The X-style stretcher features an intricate floral bouquet in its center. The piece has been in the maker’s family for four generations. This elegant console would add the ideal amount of surface space to any hallway, entryway, or covered patio or perhaps be the perfect table under a wall-mounted piece of art. Brackets on the back securely fasten the console to the wall. Estimated at 150 pounds.
