This elegant and large antique sugar bowl was crafted in France, circa 1870.; made of cut crystal and silver plated over copper, the dish sits on a square base over round feet. It features two intricate handles decorated with leaf and fruit motifs, and the lid is embellished with a small handle at the pediment. The candy recipient, or “drageoir” in French, is in excellent condition with a rich silvered finish.
