19th century French Mueche Mahogany drop leaf occasional table with brass inlay is as versatile as it is elegant. Crafted during the early Napoleon III Period out of exotic mueche mahogany, a rare variant of the exotic wood from the Americas that is only discovered when the tree is harvested, it has been inlaid with brass bordering around the edges, and caps on the tapered column legs, with even more brass ring embellishment at the base of the leg just above the elegant turned “H” structure. Possessing a lightweight appearance and impact on the room, with the leaves up it presents a more substantial surface when needed. An excellent choice for style, versatility, and timeless flair!
