Finely hand-crafted in Paris, France in the third quarter of the 19th century, exceptionally excuted in sophisticatled Louis XVI style, Directoire taste, with luxuriously appointed Neoclassical architectural form solid mahogany case, deep luxurious burgundy wine reddish, embellished with gilt brass trim, fitted with single drawer over drop-front cabinet door opening to marble-lined interior chamber, and two additional drawers below, with quality dovetail joinery, flanked by fluted column pillar supports, rising on bun feet. Striking original variegated breccia marble top.
