Oval blue porcelain cup with polychromatic decoration composed of a large cartouche with gilt-decorated borders depicting a man and a young woman in a landscape, sitting on the grass near a lake. The woman is fishing while her lover is playing the flute. The foliated handles are highlighted with gold. The edges of the cup are decorated with two small cartouches featuring a book and a bale of hay. Sevres apocryphal mark underneath, probably by Samson Manufactory,
