1934 Pierre Patout Designed Pair of Armchairs for Ss Normandie Fluted Mahogany Brass

Armchairs from the first class dining room of the SS normandie circa 1934 designed by Pierre Patout. Solid Mahogany with beautiful fluted details around the base of the seat and repeated on the back and arms of the chair. Brass accents are found in the sabots for the feet as well as inset spacers on the arms. Unmarked.

Condition:

Fabric has been replaced at some point. Soiled and ready for new upholstery. Brusing to the mahogany most notably on the arms. Appears to have original finish. No repairs visible.
