Magnificent writing table in the Louis XV style and from the Napoleon III period. This writing desk is mainly worked in rosewood and different species of wood in marquetry. It opens with a belt drawer, two doors on the top and a system flap. This piece of furniture can also be used as a lectern thanks to this flap covered in its original patinated leather. The table has rich inlays with village, landscape and animal decorations on the belt and the doors. The doors reveal storage spaces; on the right there is the location for inkwells (not present). It rests on four slender and very elegant arched legs dressed in bronze clogs. It is a very fine work and of very good quality as much in the design as the curling and the marquetry. The height with the flap deployed is 100cm.
