A set of eleven antique French dessert forks from the Napoleon III era, circa 1852-1870.
Ornate, delicate, and elegant – the tapered handles show a styling of scrolls, ribbing, and acanthus leaves, terminating in an acanthus bud. The forks are backed with a classic fan shell motif. Second Empire makers marks are seen on the front of the fork.
