Antique Japanese Meiji Ginbari Cloisonne Enamel Vase

An antique Japanese, late Meiji era, Ginbari enamel over copper vase. The urn shaped vase is enameled with a polychrome image of blossoming flowers on the light blue ground made in the Ginbari Cloisonne technique. Ginbari is a Japanese cloisonne technique when clear enamel is laid over a stippled silver layer applied to the copper sheet body. Marked with an impressed character stamp, on the bottom.
