Vintage Design
These shell lounge chairs are an interesting example of Czechoslovak mid-century furniture design. They were designed by Miroslav Navratil or František Jirák. They are associated with the “Brussels period” and world-renowned EXPO 58. The chairs has a laminated construction and wooden legs. An upholstery is in its original condition an it shows signs of age and use (faded surfaces and several upholstery defects).
